The camping des Lacs is located in a gentle mountains land dotted with many lakes and rivers, offering a large panel of outdoor activities.
If you're a swimmer or an aquatic sports lover you will be pleased to be so close to all these lakes :
- Saint-Jean de Chevelu (on site),
- Bourget (15 minutes),
- Aiguebelette (30 minutes),
- Annecy ( 50 minutes)...
You're more of a walker ?
There are many different itineraries to browse whether
- On a bike : there are many special itineraries such as the Via Rhôna or the bicycle path that links Aix-les Bains and Chambéry.
The most athletics will be happy to be so close to the big passes of the Alpes ! - On a mountain bike : 28 marked trails wind in the area (500km of trails in total) starting from the campsite or not.
For those who like traveling on a bike, The Camping des lacs is located on a Mountain bike marked course called « les Chemins du Soleil ». - On foot : the area offers endless hiking possibilities.
Looking for the thrill ? You can enjoy rock climbing, via ferrata, cannyoning, parapenting, kayaking and more in within a few minutes from the campsite.

- Chambéry (25 minutes)
- Annecy (50 minutes)
- Chamonix (1h40)
- Geneva (1h15)
The region has many local products to be tried as you visit:
wine from the surrounding vineyards (Roussette, Chardonnay, Mondeuse, Gamay...) and local Savoyard cheeses.
Those products can be discovered during the local markets and directly with the local producers.
